Singer and rapper Aaron Carter drowned in his bathtub due to the combined effects of sedatives and inhaled gas from spray cleaners. He was discovered lifeless and submerged in the bathtub of his Lancaster, California home on November 5th at the age of 34.
An autopsy revealed that alprazolam, a sedative commonly sold under the brand name Xanax, was present in his system along with difluoroethane, a compressed gas. These two substances rendered him unconscious in the bathtub, ultimately leading to his drowning.
