Jim Jones of Dipset , recently opened up about his time at Baseline Studios with Jay-Z during an interview with AllHipHop. Jones shared a story about how he used to bring Bloods gang members to the studio on a regular basis.
Jones recalled an incident where he brought in 20 Bloods members to the studio, and Jay-Z pulled him aside to express his concerns. According to Jones, Jay-Z said, “Listen, I’m not crazy about all the Bloods you bring here. But if you bring the gangstas in here, make sure they holla at me before anything else because this is my house.”

Despite Jones’ success at Roc-A-Fella Records, the group’s tenure was challenging due to Cam’ron’s rivalry with Jay-Z, which resulted in their departure from the label after only one album release.
