Draymond Green’s Horrific Game 3 Leads to Celtics Win

-

The Boston Celtics took a 2 to 1 lead in the NBA Finals after knocking off the Warriors in Game 3. Draymond Green was atrocious in the game scoring only 2 points with 3 assists and 4 rebounds before fouling out in the 116 to 100 loss.

The Boston crowd let him have it after generating bad blood with the Celtics in a podcast over the weekend.

Despite his game, Steph Curry and Klay Thompson played well scoring 31 and 25 respectively. But Boston’s duo of Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum put up great numbers as Brown scored 27 to go along with Tatum’s 26. Defensive Player of the Year Marcus Smart also added 24 making the trio the first in decades to have 20 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists each in a Finals game.

Adding injury to insult, Steph Curry injured his ankle but should be good to go as the series continues. Game 4 is Friday night in Boston.
