Hurricane Agatha made landfall in Mexico yesterday afternoon becoming the strongest hurricane to make landfall in May in the history of record keeping for the eastern Pacific hurricane season. The storm hit a small populated area in Oaxaca state as a category 2 with sustained winds over 100 mph. It lost power once going over land.
