The long awaited return on Ben Simmons to the hardwood got a step closer as the Brooklyn Nets swingman was cleared for contact. He continues to work his way from a back injury that has held up his return since being acquired from the Philadelphia 76ers in a swap for James Harden.
He has already been ruled out of Game 2 in their 1st round playoff series against the Boston Celtics by head coach Steve Nash, but a return at some point during the series seems likely.
